Yesterday was Mother's Day. My mom passed on from this life in 2000. More than most other times, she really made a significant presence on my mind this Mother's Day. I miss her and would really love to share with her everything that you and I are sharing now. I know she is/would be proud.
Our parents, or those who took on the parental role for us as a child, have had a significant influence on our lives even today. There are so many attitudes and behaviors that we chose to accept from them - naturally so.
The attitudes and behaviors (patterns) are reflected in the way we think about money and abundance, the way we raise our children, the way we show love, and so on.
I think, as the empowered being that you are, that it makes sense to look at your old patterns you adopted from your parents. Do they serve you today?
Here is an assignment for you. Get out a sheet of paper and answer the following questions. Be honest. Just write without judgment.
"How am I like my mom?"
"How am I like my dad?"
"How am I like ...?"
Of those old patterns, which of them are not serving your highest good and the highest good of those around you?
Now - and this is the most important part - take action to shift/eliminate/change or otherwise make your life... well... you life.
You CAN do it!
BE Amazing!
