What would happen if you decided to be responsible for everything that happens in your world, including everything you observe or experience?
Now, when I say 'responsible' I do not mean to imply fault or blame for the event. By 'responsible' I am referring to how you perceive the event and whether or not this event is an issue in your world.
Everything you experience, everything you observe, everything... is open to your interpretation. Have you realized yet that two people will often have two different perceptions or interpretations of an event? Even in your day to day, you will perceive something differently depending on your mood.
The fact remains; Stuff Happens! How we choose to deal with it will determine our results and our condition in the moment. I think a couple of months ago, I wrote about a fellow who I had apparently cut off on the freeway exit ramp. It was an accident and I didn't even know it happened until he raced by me shaking his fist and making certain that I knew I was #1 in his book. I did not react. I observed. It was interesting to note that out of that exchange of which he and I were equal parties too, he was the only one unhappy.
What would happen if you decided to be personally responsible?
Isn't it empowering to know that you always have a choice? You can choose to be happy. You can choose to be empowered. You can choose to be responsible. And... when you think about it... choosing to be responsible is being empowered. You can only change things you have decided to take responsibility for.
BE Amazing!
