Let go...

Last Saturday, Colleen and I went to the Scarborough Faire Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie, Texas. What fun! Hundreds of people letting go of their barriers and limitations to take on and experience a different (and fun) reality. There where so many people dressed in period costumes.

Here in North Texas, it was a very rainy day. It drizzled and rained all day and... we had a ball! In fact, since it was a rainy day, only those who were really committed to be there were there and so there were so many people in costume. Due to the rain, the whole place was one big mud pit!

One little girl caught our attention. She was there with her daddy and she was muddy from head to toe. We watched as her dad stood by and allowed this little one to let go of the social requirements of cleanliness. She played, stomped, jumped, and sat in the mud. What a little doll.
